Lilac at the Ribbon Girls

Happy Fathers day!

I have a card to share today, but its not a Fathers Day card. This is my Ribbon Girls colour challenge card, this week we are using Lilac, and I have used a cute Saturated Canary image too!

The image is Jane, one of Krista's Lovelies in rubber from Little Darlings Rubber stamps. I coloured her up a while back for the stamp packets, so I thought its time she made it to a card. I have edged the image with Pearl and Rhinestone Flowers, I though they looked like a boarder all set together like that rather than individual flowers.

I used a simple layout, and just distressed the edges of the papers, Which are some Maja's from my draw of scraps. I have used 38mm Charlotte Elizabeth Vintage Style White Lace with a layer of 16mm Lilac Velvet Ribon over the top. I have dressed a couple of Lilac small buttons with white button twine on the paper layer, and machine sewn the base paper with White top stitch thread. I have topped the flower display with a silver heart charm with a double bow from 3mm Heliotrope No 7 Berisford Satin

The Prize for the challenge will be £10 voucher from The Ribbon Girl

and a
Wonderful prize from Marrianne Designs NL

Hope you have a great day, thanks for popping in. xx

On your wedding day.....

Hey lovelies, Hope you had a lush weekend. We did, lots of sunshine and pottering in the garden. fabulous!

I wanted to share a card I made for the current issue of Papercraft Inspirations with you today.

This is part of a wedding feature I did, I have used Maja basic summer papers. I stamped the pretty heart with lilac ink. The stamp is from Noolibird, and embelished with liquid pearls.  I wrapped the papers with a little 32mm ann lace, and 3mm White Ribbon, I thought it looked a bit garter bell style. A few little white sweetheart blooms balance the sentiment out, these embellishments are from the Ribbon girl.

If you want more pics and details on the whole project, Issue 140 Papercrafts Inspirations is in the shops now.

Thanks for popping in. xx

Inked Pretty in Aqua.

Hey Lovelies, Happy Sunday. Its time for a new colour challenge at The Ribbon girls. This time its Aqua. I also wanted to combine that with a cute image from Saturated Canary.

I have coloured up Inked Pretty with copics. I wanted the whole card to feel very light and summery, so I just distressed the edges, and layered on white card. I framed the image with a ring of Machine stitching using White Top stitch thread from the Ribbon girls. To add the eclectic layering I have added 2 types of lace (32mm Victoria antiques fine cluny lace, and 32mm Corrissa ivory lace) I added 3mm Aqua Berisford satin and bow on top! kept the flowers all white, except for a pop of Aqua with Rolled Kort and Godt Aqua roses, and ticked a Little Bird cage with heart on in too. All these bits can be found in the Ribbon Girls shop.

The prize this time  is Prize will be £10 voucher for The Ribbon Girl and this cute set of dies from Marianne craftables.

Wine O'clock time

Hey Lovelies, its been a long time eh?! Sorry about that life got kind of hectic here. I started a part time job a few weeks ago, so I have even less time to craft Boo....Plus I am in the final phase of the mega birthday party of the year. Its gonna be amazin! Hooray! I will share more on that at the end of the month. Its been so much work this year, but I think it may be my best yet!! I will post all the details after the event, and lots of fab pics and makes to share with it!!

Anyway I have a card to share - At last I hear you say :) This is a little creation I made a little while back for Saturated Canary, using one of the special stamps Krista designed for Complete cardmaking magazine. I used Wine O'clock, isn't she lush. I am so going to indulge in a few glasses tonight!

I coloured her with my Copics, and decided to match her up with these lush papers from Maja. I picked out the peach in the floral for all the embellies and flowers. I went to town with all my wine/drink bits. I found a cork screw charm and a model size wine bottle to pop in my flowers, and well given the name of her I had to find a little wooden clock in my stash haha! The beautiful ribbon is Peach seam binding, with a little 32mm Corrissa Ivory Lace from The Ribbon Girls.

Have a great weekend, thanks for popping in. xx
