Pretty Flowers & Ribbons

Hellooo Lovelies. Well its an exciting day for me today. My 1st Pretty Little Ribbon Shop post! I am so chuffed to be invited to work with the fabby girlies and yummy Ribbons. So the theme for this months Challenge is Flowers and Ribbons so a nice easy start to the new year, so I am sure you can play along too :)

I was so excited I made two projects this month Firstly her is my card -

As a little pre Christmas treat I bough a couple of the new LOTV cuties, as soon as I saw 'You are my Sunshine' bear I had to have him :). I have coloured him with Distress Ink markers, and finished the flowers and butterfly with Stickles glitter. The materials are listed below. I wanted to make the huge Blue silky crush ribbon bow one of the main features, so kept the papers simple, and  I thought I would get all creative with my sewing so did a sort of abstract swoopy line around twice. I rather like how it came out.


While I was creating my card, I was also making up a little box for my little girl. She is such a monkey always in my jewelry box, so I thought I would make her a super pretty little box to put in her room.

So this was a very simple box I found for a £1 in range, loves a bargin me :) I painted it with White acrylic paint, while it was still wet i sprinkled glamour dust over it. I used some delish hot pink polka dot ribbon around the box. A few flowers and a little MS tag punch with LOTV sentiment on. We even when shopping for some plastic beads to put in her box. Neadless to say she is still 'relocating' my jewlery, but at least I know its in the little box rather than hidden all over the house!
